Hi there, great question. At J Sweat Plastic Surgery we offer a variety of chemical peels and products targeted towards treating all ethnic skin types. Before receiving the actual peel, it is imperative to be on the proper products to prep the skin to ensure and maintain optimal results. We carry SkinMedica, the number one doctor dispensed cosmeceutical skincare line in the world. And Lytera 2.0 for pigment correction was specifically formulated with darker skin in mind. Hope that answers your question.

We do not suggest chemical peels for sun damaged skin as most kinds of pigmentation can be permanently removed with q-switched laser treatments. We believe this method of sun damage removal is far superior because of the permanent benefits of the treatment over a
treatment like a chemical peel.
