Chemical Peels -1 answer
I had a chemical peel a month ago. I shaved a day before and now I have a burn on my upper lip. Will it go away? I went back to the dermatologist and she told me it was fine, that shaving had nothing to do with it. She said that I just have sensitive skin.

How to treat skin rashes caused by chemical peels? My rashes are red, itchy and have blisters. After some days the blisters dried out.
Chemical Peels -1 answer
I used a chemical peel on my skin and after 4 days I peeled off some on my skin. Then, when I woke up the following day the part that was peeled had rashes. It was already a week and the blisters on my rashes dried out and my skin turned out to be so rough. Can I apply aloe vera gel on it? Thank you for your answer.

I am a 22 yr old male and I have a really fair, light complexion. This has resulted in freckles on my forehead that I want removed.
Chemical Peels -1 answer
My freckles are not black as the night as I avoid sun exposure when I can, but they are super noticeable on my forehead and I just really want them gone. I want to remove them with a chemical peel and possibly use natural methods avoiding expensive laser treatment. What do you recommend?

A medium medical grade chemical peel didn't peel my face. Is it still working?
Chemical Peels -1 answer
The doctor applied it and said my face would peel in 2 days, but it's 4 days now and no signs of peeling. I want to diminish acne scars and hyperpigmentation. She said I need 4 more peelings, but I'm not sure if they will work because I see no skin peeling. Thanks.

How often should I apply my glycolic acid peel?
Chemical Peels -1 answer
I just did a glycolic acid (50%) peel. It was burning before the neutralization step, but after that I didn't feel anything. Nothing has changed, not even the skin color (complexion). My face is not red or peeling. Can I apply the peel again the next day? How often should I apply the peel and how many applications will it take to get the results I am looking for?

Are chemical peels the proper treatment for rhinophyma?
Chemical Peels -1 answer
I've done about 20 chemical peels (every 3 days) on my nose to treat my rhinophyma/very large pores. The solution contains 70 percent glycolic acid. At first the peels didn't hurt, but now they really sting as the dead skin is gone. My nose is back to the shape/size it was in 2000. What's your take on this?

Are chemical peels effective and safe after or with roaccutane?
Chemical Peels -1 answer
Would I be required to have clearer skin with no acne for a chemical peel to be effective? I am in the first week of roaccutane treatment, as advised by my dermatologist. I am a 23-year-old female asian on roaccutane 40mg because I have acne on my cheeks for a year now. I have acne scars/marks and the area around my lips is dark. Is chemical peel safe to undergo and can it remove the scars and even out my skin tone?
