How long do Laser Resurfacing results last?

I'd like to have laser resurfacing to tighten my wrinkly facial skin. I realize that the results may not be as dramatic as a surgical facelift, but how long will the results last? Are there face-tightening options that I should consider, as well?

Generally resurfacing will last 2-5 years with the average being around 3. Other options include Titan Skin Tightening as well a Sculptra liquid face lift which I? prefer greatly for myself.

That depends. On average it last several years. This depends on how you maintain your skin. Someone who uses medical grade skin products afterwards will see their results last a lot longer than someone who does not use any products. Also, sun exposure, genetics, general health, postmenopausal vs premenopausal, smoking, and alcohol consumption all influence the duration of benefit from the laser resurfacing.

The expectation we set for our patients is that laser resurfacing will last a period of 1-3 years. The period will depend on how old the patient is, what they are trying to fix about their skin and what type of resurfacing is performed. Make sure to go to several consultations
to get as much information as possible about your options.
