There is nothing proven to be real effective for stretch marks. Stretch marks are one of the hardest problems to treat. Laser resurfacing using CO2 or erbium Yag potentially can be helpful but the results are varied.

There is currently only one laser called the Palomar 1540 Fractional that has been FDA cleared for stretch marks with an average reduction of 50% in most patients.

The effectiveness of any laser treatment is going to depend on the patient, the practitioner and the laser being used. If you are not a good candidate for laser procedures then nothing will work. If the laser used is not the best for your condition, you'll likely not get results either. Our suggestion would be to find a couple reputable practices near you and go in for more than one consultation to hear what they have to say. Remember, no stretch mark procedures are going to be guaranteed, but some may really help improve the marks.
