What is the best keloid scar removal treatment?

About 2 years ago I got a cut on my neck and once it healed it became a Keloid scar, I went to see a dermatologist and he did a small surgery by removing it and applying stitches on it, months later almost a year the keloid came back and this time it's bigger

Any surgery should also include steroid injections. Try steroid
injections (Kenalog or other) from your MD before undergoing surgery
again. If that doesn't work, you may want to attempt surgery but
kenalog injections after surgery should be given proactively to avoid
re-keloiding.

Keloid Scars are tricky. A common treatment is cortizone injections to lessen the appearnace and soften the texture. Keloids are over production of scar tissue and if you cut the skin and put in stitches you are giving your skin an opportunity to build more scar tissue.

I think the only treatment and the most cost efficient is to do a cortisone injection into the skin. It will not make it go away but it will make it smaller.

There is always a risk when doing scar revision that another Keloid may form. It would have been best treated when you first noted changes with your physician. Now it would be best to use Kenalog injection to decrease the Keloid.
