Yes, you most certainly can. I always tell my clients to stop using any
"active" skincare products 2-5 days prior to any laser or light treatments,
and 1 week post treatment.

Yes, but there are certain types of laser treatments that we will not
perform while a patient is on HQ products. Two other issues. If the
patient is treating Melasma with Hydroquinone, we recommend against any
laser treatments and if the HQ products contain Retin A, the patient
will be more sensitive to lasers. You need to review this with the MD
that is prescribing the HQ and the one that is performing the laser
treatments.

I generally recommend patients to stop HQ for at least 3 days prior to
a laser surgery. Depending on which type of laser treatment, I
recommend that HQ not be applied for at least 3-7 days after your
laser treatment. Please check with your doctor however for more
specific instructions.
