Are combining a mild Chemical Peel and Microdermbrasion safe?

Generally speaking it would be safe if the chemical peel is a mild one. I would ask the spa if this is the case. Chemical peel done at spa levels are usually mild or very superficial. If the peel is deep or strong I suggest to separate it from the microdermabrasion.

It depends on the ingredients of the chemical peel. However, I don't find microdermabrasion generally effective for most skin problems.

While it is not really unsafe to perform both procedures, it may be irritating to the skin. Microdermabrasion and chemical peels (at least mild peels) are designed to exfoliate the skin, removing the upper layers of dead skin cells. If both treatments are combined at the same time, it could very well lead to red, irritated skin. We are not able to make a suggestion for the best treatment for you because we do not know which skin condition you are attempting to fix with these treatments.
