Will the discoloration and scars be affected?
I have discoloration & scars caused by ingrown hairs. How will the laser affect those areas? Make it worse? Clear or lighten?

Shouldn't have any effect on the darker areas.

The hair removal laser won't cause discolorations. you can treat prior discolorations with AHAs between hair laser treatments.

Because the laser hair removal will permanently remove the hair, the
discoloration should slowly fade and not return. If you have indented
scars (pock marks) as well, the laser will not help with these.
