The Candela Smoothbeam is certainly one option for laser acne treatment. It is not the only laser or light based acne treatment and if your goal is to stop breakouts altogether then you may need to revise your expectations before moving forward with laser treatments. Because acne has no cure, there isn't a program out there that is guaranteed to "stop
breakouts". The Smoothbeam (and other lasers) may be able to mange and control your acne more easily but is not a cure for acne and may not be able to stop the breakouts completely.
