Is Fraxel or Erbium best for acne scarring?

I have acne scarring and was wondering which laser has the best results, Fraxel or Erbium laser. I don't want to spend a lot of money on repeated treatments, so which requires fewer treatments and is more effective?

Thanks for your inquiry.
choosing the right technology would be more based on the condition of your skin , acne scars, skin colur, etc but in general Erbium laser is one of the safest and most effective treatments for skin rejuvenation and acne scarring, considering that is performed by an experienced laser therapist. We offer more fractional skin needling or dermapen skin needling to our patients who desire to improve their acne scarring as the results are more consistent with moderate side-effects that don't require taking any time off work!

It's not the laser, it's the user. While Fraxel and Erbium lasers can both be effective at treating acne scars, it's HOW they are used in the process that's important. There are differences between laser resurfacing technologies, but what we have found to be most important is how deep the procedures go to resurface scar tissue. Most practices only resurface the superficial epidermis because pain is difficult to manage when penetrating the dermis.
