What is the difference between Smart Lipo and Zerona?

There is no comparison.
Smartlipo is a modified liposuction procedure. Under local anesthesia, small incisions are made so that the laser fiber can be inserted. The fiber heats up the fat melting it to a liquified form. It is then suctioned away by a vacuum device. It is excellent for small to moderate amounts of undesired fat in a focal area. With the laser heat, it will also tighten the skin. Disadvantage: swelling, soreness, you will have to wear a compression garment for 6 wks.
Zerona is a whole different kind of laser. Low levels of energy are used to *stimulate *the fat the cells to push out some fat from the cells. The fat is released to the circulation whereby the fat is processed by your body. No incisions are required. No swelling or downtime. It is good for someone who wants to lose a few inches every where and not in 1 particular place.
Disadvantage: no skin tightening, less fat reduction in that desired area, less predictable results.
