Do parasites live on psoriatic skin?

My dad has psoriasis. We went to the sea yesterday and he was in the water for 20 minutes. After he came out, a transparent insect came out of one of the psoriatic patches. Is this a parasite? Do parasites live on psoriatic skin?

As creepy as it sounds, most skin has microscopic mites on it. D. folliculorum is known to colonize the face and scalp. However, they are not visible without magnification. A visible parasite crawling out of skin is not normal and may represent an infection. I would recommend he see a dermatologist.
