Is Ultherapy useful for the neck bands aquired from aging?

I am 62 and don't have a double chin or neck fat, just two bands that look a little like a turkey. A face lift is out of the question for me. Will Ultherapy work?

I believe your question is about bands on the neck, which are called platysmal bands. No, unfortunately Ultherapy does no treat platysma bands and will not help. Neurotoxins like Botox and Xeomin can give temporary improvement, but the most definitive treatment would be a neck lift. Wishing you the best of health, Dr Wright.

I am sorry, I don't think it has much effect. If it is minor, it may have a minor effect, but you will need to combine it with Botox or Dysport. The neuromodulator is quite benign, and it works very well.

Ultherapy can tighten the jawline, but it probably will not improve the platysmal bands of the neck that you mention. Botox can relax/soften these, but surgery is probably needed to tighten the bands.
