Is there a laser procedure that can remove the fat caused by diabetes?

I exercise and am careful with what I eat, but because of the diabetes I can't seem to loose the weight. Is there a laser procedure that I can use? If so, what is the average cost?

My husband is a type I diabetic. In your question you don't say which type of diabetes you have. My husband has had great success removing his stubborn fat from his "love handles" and lower belly. He also works out daily and eats a very healthy diet, but couldn't get rid of certain fat areas.

He used primarily CoolSculpting, which freezes the fat. He also used Vanquish and RF device that heats the fat, and he also used UltraShape, a physical ultrasound device. These three devices all kill stubborn fat cells. None of these are actual laser treatments, but they might be generically referred to as laser treatments by some people.

I would seek out a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon who has a complete body center (e.g.,. not just one type of device) and go in for a consultation. Consultations are usually free.

If there is fat caused by diabetes, I would recommend you get a medical workup actually looking at insulin resistance, hormonal imbalance, nutritional deficiencies and inflammatory markers. This would actually
look into why you have fat deposition. The laser procedure does not look into the root causes to the fat or diabetes.
