Ice pick scars (holes) can be treated with punch excision, fractional laser resurfacing, and high strength acid peels (TCA). It is best to have more than one consultation from physicians' offices that offer these treatments.

There are some great medical grade face cleansers on the market, but they usually can only be found at medical offices. Skinceuticals and ZO Skin Health each make good ones that have very active ingredients. We have seen great results with acne scarring with a procedure called Dermapen. It is a micro-needling device that breaks up scar tissue, allowing the skin to produce new collagen and heal those spots. Sometimes several treatments may be needed, but you should see positive progress even after the first treatment!
