I do not perform liposuction treatments any longer. I use three types of noninvasive fat removal. Freezing the fat kills certain lipid rich fat cells. The machine we use is called CoolSculpting from ZELTIQ. We also use ultrasound from the Syneron/Candela company, with a device called Ultra Shape. It too causes some fat cell destruction. Lastly, we use a product called Vela Shape, which is a radiofrequency (RF)device that heats skin to between 42 and 45°C, causing fat cells to lose their shape. The first two procedures result in permanent fat cell removal, while the third one is temporary. In regards to the third, we use it sometimes in combination with the other two. It is also good for tightening the skin after fat loss. I hope this is been helpful. If you want to learn more about them, you can look all of these procedures up online. They might be less dramatic than actual liposuction.
