With laser hair removal will dark spots be removed as well?

Will the dark spots go away? And does the hair never grow back once you get the treatment?

Laser hair removal - if performed with a quality laser using appropriate settings - on a good candidate (dark, coarse hairs) can achieve permanent hair reduction. However, some stray hairs can continue to grow and years later hairs may emerge.

Dark spots that are confined to the epidermis (such as solar lentigos) will usually go away after hair removal with laser.

Most systems will not remove dark spots along with the hair. You may
see some improvement may be seen if you use an intense pulsed light
system for hair removal. The dark spots will need to be specifically
targeted by the laser operator.

With laser hair removal you should see permanent reduction in hair but
it can be difficult to remove 100% of the hair forever. There have
been some studies that show a hair can go dormant for a few years and
then start to grow again.
