What treatment options are available for Unwanted Facial Hair?

I've heard laser hair removal works, but it takes multiple sessions and is painful. Are there any other less-invasive options for removing excess facial hair, in the sideburn and upper-lip areas?

There is a cream named Vaniqua that is a good solution for unwanted facial
hair. Electrolysis is more painful than laser and requires repeated treatments. Laser hair removal has come a long way and newer technology can remove hair
safely and painlessly from the face in all skin types and hair colors.
Multiple sessions are needed because only actively growing hairs are susceptible to the treatment. Other hairs are treated in their growth cycle in turn.

No, I think laser hair removal is the best. It is the most effective method. The laser does not have to be painful. You can be numbed topically, making much more comfortable. Electrolysis is a possibility but should only be done if you are not a good candidate for the laser.
