What is the strongest but safest chemical peel for African American Skin?

I learned in school that not all peels can be used on ethnic skin due to a burning effect that would happen. So what is the strongest chemical peel that can be done on African American skin without causing harm?

First, I would like to know why you are having a peel. Is it for brown spots, or for acne, or for an all-over refresher? Many peels are safe for darker skin. I happen to like the VI Peel, which treats a broad range of skin issues and is safe for all skin types. For acne I like the b-liftx peel which uses salicylic acid. For pigment and melasma, consider the Melanage peel/mask.

I think the ViPeel is wonderful peel that is safe and effective for African Americans. It will help improve pigmentation, skin texture, and fine lines.
