A filler is a compound that is used to increase volume or "fill" an
area or a line/wrinkle. Fillers are injected into the skin or below
the skin to decrease lines, wrinkles, or hollow areas. There are many
types of fillers out in the market such as Restylane, Juvederm, or
Radiesse. They all have their advantages and disadvantages which
should be discussed with a cosmetic surgeon to find out what is right
for you.
