There are many different acne options for the back. Below are a few, listed from the easiest and most traditional, to the more expensive and less traditional options.

Over the counter products. If you decide to try over the counter products we suggest looking for a body wash that is "glycolic acid" based antibiotics. Once you decide to go the medical route, often the first prescription offered will be some form of antibiotic.
Accutane. Accutane is an excellent alternative for severe acne, but side effects are many. Consider carefully with your physician. Laser treatments and photodynamic therapy. We typically see patients for laser treatments after they have considered or tried all of the above.
