Is Perlane good on acne scars?

I am interested in doing this procedure. I am 29 years old and have had acne scars since I was 18. I would like to see my face pretty atleast once...

Perlane (now named Restylane Lyft) is a Hyaluronic filler that in my experience is too thick to be useful for typical acne scarring. Fillers play a role in very minimal acne scars but most commonly the treatment involves micro-needling with radiofrequency. This is often combined with injections of PRP which will signal your own stem cells to initiate the repair.

Before considering injection procedures for acne scars, we would
recommend you research the following. We think they are better and
potentially more permanent options for you.

Traditional CO2 or Erbium Laser Resurfacing
Fractional CO2 or Erbium Laser Resurfacing
Dermabrasion (NOT microdermabraion)
Subcision
Excision

Have you taken the time to look at the various fractional lasers that are
now available for treating acne scarring? You will have to have a series of
three to five treatments spaced about one month apart and you will continue
to see improvement up to about six months after your last treatment. We do
not want to suggest that you will have baby smooth skin, but most people will
see a general softening and smoothing of the scars. The other chief
advantage over using dermal filler such as Perlane of Juvederm is that with
the laser you are stimulating a growth response of your collagen, which is
lasting, as opposed to filler which would have to be done again and again. We
use the Fraxel Restore for acne scarring but that is just one of many
effective lasers on the market today.
