Is Latisse safe for people with blue eyes?

I heard that Latisse can turn your eyes brown. Is this true? How common is this side effect, and would you still recommend Latisse for someone with blue eyes (who wants to keep them blue!)?

Yes, this is possible but rare event. I have not come across this personally but it has been reported. However, this was reported when patients were using the medication to treat glaucoma. In these cases, they were putting the medicine in the eye itself. So far, I have not heard anybody using Latisse for the purposes of growing longer eye lashes having this problem.

If the patient has any hint of brown in the eyes, there is a possibility that the eyes could darken. If the eyes are completely blue, this has not been shown to happen. In either case, the product is safe, but does have the ability to darken the eye color for some patients that have some brown color in their eyes.
