Collagen (Zyderm/Cosmoderm/Zyplast/ Cosmoplast) is not widely used any more. In fact, the company has stopped making it this Spring so when it is used up there will be no more available.

It has mainly been replaced by other fillers that consist of hylaronic acid and other materials. Radiesse is another filler with a different composition that is quite popular, lasting sometimes twice as long. There is a new product called Evolence which has collagen but it has not gained that much popularity. Overall, it depends on which area you would like treated and the duration you want that will determine which filler is best
suited for you.
