I am interested in lip enhancement, how is this done?

I am 54, recently quit smoking, and have very thin lips. I would love to reward myself with this type of procedure. Please give me the information on this to help me decide if it is for me. Thank you in advance

You will need a consultation to discuss the ultimate look that you desire.
The lips are numbed topically or a dental block (similar to what the
dentist would do to block the teeth) can be done to provide the numbing
effect. The lips then are injected with either Juvederm or Restylane. The
injection can be placed on the outside of the lip to enhance the borders
and can be placed inside the "meat" of the lips to create a fuller lip.
The lip enhancement usually last 6-12 months.

I use dermal fillers such as Restylane and Juvederm to enhance your lips.
The filler lasts about 8 months to a year. We use numbing cream for 30 minutes prior to your treatment. I also give you a mini- dental block to ensure you are comfortable. Then I use 1 cc of these products to enhance your lips. I can make them larger and also fill in fine lines from the lips. The treatment costs $600.
It can cause some bruising for a few days up to a week.
