The mesotherapy for target fat reduction is always injected into the
fat along the superficial planes. I use a strong topical numbing
cream so you hardly feel the actual injections. The techniques to
inject will vary from clinic to clinic. I use a longer needle than
most because I can cover a larger area with 1 poke. This causes less
