The best treatment is IPL (intense pulse light). Normally a series of 5-8
treatments are needed.

Treating the telangectasias on your face can respond to Electrocautery
treatments or to Photofacial (IPL).
It depends on the extensiveness and pattern of the blood vessels on your
face as to which treatment would work best for you.

Your best choices for getting rid of telangectasias (small capillaries on the face) are to do cautery (gentle burning) or Photofacial ( IPL).

Telangectasias are vascular in nature and need to be treated with a vascular laser, occasionally with some IPL as well. Photodynamic therapy is not recommended.

Intense Pulse Light therapy and Photodynamic Therapy sound really similar. How are they different?
