How do I get rid of acne that just started to appear on my face?

I am 18 years old and acne just started to appear on my face. I do not eat anything with chocolate or sugar and I dont know what to do. I don't want it to get worse either.

Acne is an extremely common struggle for men and women of all ages. What you
eat does not have anything to do why you all of a sudden are breaking out.
However, your skin is your largest organ and food that isn't good for you
obviously isn't good for your skin either. It is not known what causes acne
although several factors can contribute: stress, hormonal fluctuations, a
change in skincare products, the weather (mainly warmer weather, the heat
increases your oil gland production). With that said I have a few tips to
help you out.

-Start using a daily cleanser that contains Salicylic Acid, it kills the
p.acnes bacteria that causes pimples and heals pimples that you have - you
can find over the counter cleansers that contain this magical ingredient -
we carry one that also contains glycolic acid to gently exfoliate dead skin
cells that can be clogging your pores.

-Do not pick at your pimples or touch your face with dirty hands. Your
fingers have so much bad bacteria on them and spreading it to your face
could make the acne worse

    Hello! I'm 18 years old and I just started taking birth control for my acne. I usually break out pretty bad the week before my menstrual cycle and my skin scars very easily so my skin looks really bad. I am usually able to get clear skin after my period if I wash it and put scar cream, but then I break out and scar again. I was very hesitant to try birth control so I did some research and I got even more scared. I decided to give it a try anyway to see how it would affect my skin and I havent seen a difference at all.
