Eczema is a general term for dermatitis or inflammatory condition of the
skin. The immune system reactions are responsible for certain inflammatory
responses manifested in the skin. Psoriasis is a type of dermatitis. A
trained physician, who has seen similar conditions and gained experience can
help diagnose the type of skin condition and recommend appropriate
treatment.
