Do you have to have multiple treatments for Laser Resurfacing?

"Laser Resurfacing" is a VERY generic term and can mean different things to different patients and practices. There are literally hundreds of different ways to perform laser resurfacing (dark skin vs. light skin, no downtime vs. downtime, expensive vs. affordable, etc, etc.). The point is that the price, downtime and results will vary depending on what type of procedure is performed. Certain types of laser resurfacing do not work well for darker skin types, but it all depends on the type of resurfacing and the actual skin type (Asian, Hispanic, African).
