Do I have to keep using Botox once I start?

Could discontinuing use after three years of regular injections have any bad effects? Will it make my wrinkles much worse than they were before I started using Botox?

You can stop using Botox anytime. The result will be your wrinkles will just revert back to what they would be without the Botox, not any worse. However, when used for years, many wrinkles smooth out better with regular Botox, an effect that can continue for years.

You will not suffer any worsening of your lines or wrinkles after discontinuing Botox. Once you start using the product, you are not "required" to continue and may stop getting the injections without suffering any negative consequences.

Your wrinkles will not get worse if you stop using Botox. They will go back to close where it would have been if you didn't use botox at all. You do have to use Botox regularly to maintain the desired benefits.

Discontinuing Botox will make you no worse off than you would have been without using it. With that said, when a patient has used Botox for an extended period of time, they tend to forget what the "before" pictures look like until we pull them out. You age normally while using Botox so there are no ill effects of stopping.

Stopping Botox after several years usage will not make your wrinkles worse. In fact, you are still better off having used Botox and keeping the wrinkles from becoming fixed. Basically, you have kept them from becoming fixed lines.
