Do derma fillers work on acne scars and regular scars?

Dermal fillers such as Restylane and Juvederm are commonly used to fill in acne scars that display volume loss. In our office we utilize a combination of Fractional CO2 Resurfacing and dermal fillers to treat deep acne scars. For the dog bite scar on the nose your best option may be Fractional CO2 Resurfacing depending on your skin tone and/or Microneedling.

Yes, dermal fillers can work for acne scars and regular scars. The type
of scar will determine how well the procedure will work and we usually
lean toward laser procedures instead of injections.

Sometimes the dermal fillers work on these type of scars and sometimes the
scars are too bound down or too ice-pick to work.
Your scars would need to be evaluated to see if this treatment may work for
you..
If you are felt to be a good candidate the products Restylane and Juvederm
do come in ? cc syringes. This would help to keep your price down to
possibly in the $300 to $400 for a half cc syringe.
