Diagnosed with Factor V Leiden, and VelaSmooth proceedure.

I have been diagnosed to have Factor V Leiden R506Q, my mom has it and doctors asked me to test myself. I have already had one procedure with velasmooth. Is it safe for me to continue procedures with velasmooth or I should stop them?
