Only Botox has the FDA approval for excessive sweating at this time.

Dysport has a very similar mechanism of action like botox. It works very well for excessive sweating. It lasts as long, maybe even longer. However, it does not have a FDA indication like botox.

Botox is the only drug approved for hyperhidrosis. Because Dysport is so similar, it will most likely be used "off-label" by physicians to treat the condition and will likely become FDA approved in the future for it.
