Campbell de Morgan angiomas

Campbell de Morgan angiomas are crimson to purple 1-3 mm circumscribed domed lesions scattered over the body surface. Lesions may be single, but usually many lesions are present.

The first lesions typically appear by age 40, increasing in number subsequent to that.
Lesions are asymptomatic.

Treatment:

• Treatment is not required unless lesions are of cosmetic significance.
• They respond well to the pulsed dye laser at 585 nm, or, alternatively to cautery or electrofulguration.
