Treatments for Cellulite

Although there is currently no permanent solution to get rid of cellulite, there are a variety of treatments that can improve its appearance.

Mesotherapy

This is a non-invasive procedure that utilizes injections containing a combination of medicines, vitamins, and minerals. The injections target the middle layer of the skin called the mesoderm and work to break up the trapped fat tissues caused by cellulite. Patients may experience minor discomfort during the treatment with no healing time required afterwards. Patients generally need 5-10 treatments to see results

VelaSmooth

This advanced radiofrequency technology first uses suction to bring fat cells to the surface of the skin then through radiofrequency energy, Velasmooth shrinks the fat cells while also tightening the skin. The entire procedure lasts for about 45 minutes and feels like a deep-heated massage. Patients experience no downtime and can resume their daily activities the same day. To see desired results 6-16 treatments may be required.

Accent XL

Accent XL is a non-invasive radiofrequency procedure that uses Dual-Layer Thermotherapy to target both the superficial layer of the skin and the deeper layer of the dermis simultaneously. This technique works to improve the surface of the skin while also stimulating collagen production. The Accent XL also uses a built in cooling system to reduce the heat sensation from the treatment. The majority of procedures last 30 to 60 minutes and normally 6-12 treatments are required.

TriActive

By combining low laser energy with suction massage, TriActive helps reduce the appearance of cellulite while tightening the skin. TriActive targets three crucial characteristics that cause cellulite: weak collagen, low blood circulation, and poor lymphatic drainage. By harnessing the power of six laser diodes, TriActive offers an effective solution to improve cellulite. Most patients require 10-15 treatments.

Acoustic Wave Therapy

This revolutionary technology uses two types of devices to treat cellulite. The first device is the radial head. Using pressure waves, Acoustic Wave Therapy helps increase blood circulation to the cellulite areas and break up fat cells that are trapped between the fibrous connective tissue. This results in a smoother and well-toned skin appearance. The radial head also works to minimise pain during the procedure. The second device uses an electromagnet that emits stronger pressure waves in a short amount of time with virtually no pain or discomfort to the patient. On average 6-12 treatments are recommended to see results. In addition to each of these treatments your skin care professional will help you come up with a proper exercise and eating plan that can help maintain the results for years to come.
